Chage & Aska is one of the BEST singer duo in Japan and Asia (and
even the world, if you ask me). They begun their music career after they
won in the Yamaha Popular Song Contest in 1979. Both Chage and Aska are
all-round musicians; they can not only sing but also compose songs and do many
other musical works. They have composed and performed hundreds of songs, and many of them were mega hits and brought them
numerous music awards. Some of them were even rearranged and sung by
other popular Asian and western singers, such as Maxi Priest, Boy George and
Richard Marx. Chage and Aska are obviously not contented with being the most
popular artists in Asia, and have their minds set on entering the American
and European markets. "Something There", the English ending song of the
Hollywood movie "Street Fighter" was composed and performed by them. Aska also wrote
another ending song called "Time" for Sylvester Stallone's movie "Judge
Dredd".
Chage & Aska has just past their 20th anniversary. I wish them every success
in their future music careers.

never for Netscape 4 :p)
To introduce Chage & Aska, there's nothing better than showing their

in MIDI format! Not only can you hear them, but also you can see the
LYRICS being shown in pace with the songs! Don't understand Japanese? No
problem! All lyrics have been TRANSLATED into English and Chinese! Although
the MIDIs certainly cannot sound as good as the original songs, they still
show the beautiful rhythms and the POEM-LIKE lyrics of their songs!
To use Hyper MIDI Player, you need
Microsoft Internet Explorer,
version 4.0 and up. A sound card with descent MIDI wave-table (eg. Sound Blaster Live!)
